Plot Summary: Amidst the opening of a portal to another realm, malevolent entities known as demons emerge. Gu San-Yeong (Kim Tae-Ri) finds herself possessed by one of these demons, and Yeom Hae-Sang (Oh Jung-Se) possesses the unique ability to perceive the demon within Gu San-Yeong. Together, they seek to unravel the mysteries surrounding deaths linked to five sacred objects.

Balancing a hectic schedule, Gu San-Yeong works part-time during the day and studies to become a low-ranking public officer at night. Her life takes a turn when she discovers articles left by her late father, coinciding with a series of mysterious deaths around her. Simultaneously, she undergoes an inexplicable transformation.

Hailing from a privileged background, Yeom Hae-Sang teaches Korean folklore at a university and has possessed the ability to see demons since childhood. Witnessing his mother's demise at the hands of a demon in his youth, Yeom Hae-Sang confronts the demon responsible upon encountering Gu San-Yeong.

Lieutenant Lee Hong-Sae (Hong Kyung), a member of the violent crimes investigation team, is solely focused on advancing his career within the police department. However, the enigmatic cases involving Gu San-Yeong and Yeom Hae-Sang draw him into a world of supernatural intrigue.
