This collaboration was formalized with a business agreement signed on August 29, 2024, at the Dong-a Media Center in Seoul.

The drama's casting was confirmed in several stages. On April 26, 2024, it was announced that Bae In-hyuk, Kim Ji-eun, Jung Gun-joo, and Park Jae-chan would star as the main characters. In June 2024, it was also revealed that Kim Min-jung would make a special appearance, and Lee Ho-won’s involvement in the drama was confirmed shortly afterward.
