Based on the web novel Tomorrow's Best, which was also serialized as a webtoon, the show aired on tvN from April 8 to May 28, 2024, every Monday and Tuesday at 20:50 (KST). It's also available for streaming on platforms like TVING, U-Next, Vidio, Viki, Viu, and Netflix in select regions.

Synopsis

Set in the glamorous yet challenging world of stardom, the series follows Ryu Sun-jae, a celebrated celebrity grappling with the burdens of fame and depression. After a tragic accident claims Sun-jae's life, his ardent admirer, Im Sol, finds herself transported back 15 years to their high school days in 2008. With this second chance, Sol is determined to alter their destinies, but she must navigate the complexities of the past while confronting her own challenges.

Lovely Runner was developed from a web novel published on KakaoPage between July and September 2020, later adapted into a webtoon. Directed by Yoon Jong-ho, known for works like Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, the series features a screenplay by Lee Si-eun, recognized for True Beauty. Originally titled Time Walking on Memory, the show took three years to produce, with casting decisions being made after careful consideration.
