Synopsis

The story follows a woman known only as "The Witch" — a mysterious figure whose presence brings death to anyone who dares to approach her. Initially, she attracts curiosity and admiration, but as more people come close, they meet tragic ends.

Lee Dong-jin (played by Park Jin-young) is a data miner investigating the strange occurrences surrounding Park Mi-jeong (played by Roh Jeong-eui), the woman at the center of these events. As Dong-jin becomes more involved in her world, he develops a deep compassion for Mi-jeong, who is overwhelmed by guilt and begins to withdraw from the world.

The series explores their complicated and unyielding journey, as they seek solace in each other amidst a world filled with suffering and tragic consequences. Dong-jin and Mi-jeong’s paths intertwine as they both seek redemption in a world of despair.
